The DeKalb Outdoor Theater is a cultural center in DeKalb County for the performing art and is located near downtown Auburn adjacent to the DeKalb County Fairgrounds. The facility opened in 2009 and hosts a 7:30 p.m. Friday Night Performance Series that lasts from June to mid-August and is free to the public. The facility features a 60 ft. X 40 ft. stage with provisions for lighting, sound, seating and restrooms. Audiences should bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the performances in a park setting. Supper on the Bridge
The “Supper on the Bridge” will be held on Friday, Aug. 21 and Saturday, Aug. 22 at 6:30 p.m. on the Spencerville Covered Bridge. This is the only covered bridge left in DeKalb County. You will be served a catered meal by Dutch Heritage Baking and Catering, live music will be played while you are dining. Cost is $25.00 per person.

Garden Walk
The Garden Walk is an annual event featuring several private and public gardens. Visitors can view these gardens to acquire ideas on landscaping, garden maintenance, plant selection, and use of hardscaping. This event is held the second Saturday in July from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is a fundraiser for the DeKalb Show Choirs of DeKalb High School.

Winter Tractor and Engine Show
Held in mid March, the show features up to 200 antique and classic tractors of all makes, plus over 50 gas engines. Special events offer a craft show, swap meet and toy show. On Sunday, a farm toy auction is held with over 500 lots of collectible farm toys. Sponsored by the National Automotive and Truck Museum and the Maumee Valley Antique Steam & Gas Association.

CycleFest
Listen for the rumble of over 1000 motorcycles as they ride into Auburn, Indiana on Saturday, May 16, 2009 for CycleFest. The event includes a parade through the streets of Auburn, a poker run, a Peoples Choice Bike Show, field contests and the world famous burn-out cage. Heartland Show and Festival
Held the first weekend following the 4th of July, the festival promotes the cultural and historical heritage of the Butler community. Some of the activities you will experience are antique tractors and engines, museum exhibits, car drive-ins, 3k/5k walks, talent shows, downtown merchant sales, and a parade. All of this ending on Saturday evening with a large fireworks display.

Ashley-Hudson Festival
The festival is held the first Saturday in August, and begins at 6:00 a.m. with a pancake and sausage breakfast at the Hudson Volunteer Fire Department. A parade starts at 11:00 a.m. in Hudson and ends in Ashley, followed with crafts, food, games and entertainment until 4:00 p.m. The day ends with fireworks and a street dance in Hudson until 12:00 midnight.

Festival of Lights
This event is held annually the second week in December, sponsored by the Lakewood Park Baptist Church. It is one of the area’s largest Christmas Celebrations with over 40,000 computerized lights. Lakewood Park Baptist Church invites you to join them for a night of music, drama, comedy and fun.

Garrett Museum of Art
The Garrett Museum of Art was founded in 2008 with its primary focus to provide space for education, enrichment, and recognition of the visual arts inherent to the local community and its surrounding area. The museum is open Fridays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 3 p.m., and is located at the old Garrett State Bank building on the corner of King and Randolph streets.
